Katy, Jason, and I had been trying to arrange a snowy engagement session for a couple weeks and it was looking less and less likely to happen as the snow was melting faster and faster. Only for Jess and Mike would the sun begin to shine on such a rainy gloomy day. Our plan was to enjoy the art gallery at Bates College but our day held so much more. We wandered the halls of the Bates art studios and when the sun began to shine, explored the campus. Jess and Mike are such a soft and beautiful couple and their soft gestures towards each other are almost unnoticeable, yet express everything.

I was so excited about this beautiful fall wedding that I just could not wait to put up a post about it. Becca and John have known from the beginning that it was meant to be and finally they got to show their love to family and friends. The ceremony took place on their own land in Carthage, Maine and was filled with pumpkins, sunflowers, and hay bales. The sun was warm, the breeze was cool, and love was in the air. I cannot even explain how amazed I am with little Baby Marina. She is such a fighter. Just two days ago she finally got to come home. Her mom has been by her side everyday while in the hospital and now they get to snuggle and play like every infant should. Seeing her now only expands my awe for this little creature that has blessed us all with her presence in the world. A St. Patrick’s Day gift, Sara Lilly was born at 1:55 on Wednesday March 17^th. Mommy and daddy (and grandma) could not have been happier to have such a wonderful, healthy baby girl. Heather was induced early, early Wednesday morning and was helped along with her attentive nurse, loving mother, and husband who could not stop making her laugh. In all my spare time (um, yeah . . . ) I have been working with new album design software. After a couple weeks of trying to get it to open on my home computer I am so happy with the results. On Monday evening at 7:11 pm we were all surprised by the entrance of a little baby girl. At 35 weeks I had been planning on asking Marisa to join me for a maternity session this week. But there was a little one who was too impatient for that. With Marisa in an ambulance we all rushed to the hospital to welcome the newest addition.
